This release brings new and enhanced features, better scalability, smoother workflows, and a richer user experience on CloudBlue Connect®.

Expanse now handles three more asset events: adjustment, renew, and transfer. Together with the existing purchase, change, cancel, suspend, and resume events, an automation can now declare and run all eight asset processing events. Change requests in revoking status, such as revoking a scheduled change, now also reach the automation. This lets more existing connectors move onto Expanse without custom workarounds.

Expanse gains the language and tooling needed to run more complex, real-world connectors. This includes looping over lists (for_each), new string, list, and date functions, and access to the individual fields of object-type parameters. It also adds fulfillment actions such as posting a conversation message and leaving the request pending, scheduling and confirming requests, and fetching an asset. Automations that previously required a full extension can now be expressed directly in Expanse.
Expanse solutions can now use OAuth credentials to provision against vendor APIs. Solution builders no longer need to embed or hand-manage vendor authentication in their automations. This brings Expanse in line with how vendors handle credentials and how they authenticate, allowing for automations to be built and run end to end against vendors’ APIs.
Vendors can now see exactly what an Expanse automation did for each fulfillment request, without contacting Connect support. Each run is recorded in the Expanse UI with its event, request, outcome, duration, and retries. Per-operation detail shows the API calls made, the vendor API responses, and the decision branches taken. Credential values are redacted before anything is logged. When a request fails, a vendor can open it, find the run, and read the vendor API error that caused it.

Volume price lists now allow the same quantity range to appear more than once, for example two rows covering 0-9 units, each carrying different vendor custom attributes. This lets vendors attach different promotions, price-level hints, and other specs to the same range, as their product requires. Up to 10 duplicates per range are supported, and overlapping ranges (such as 0-9 and 5-14) remain disallowed.
We have enhanced multiple aspects of our platform to boost performance, optimize operational efficiency, and strengthen security across various areas.
