Capability attributes define various aspects of a product distribution and product ordering procedures as schematically illustrated in the following diagram:
Access the Capabilities list via the General section from your product profile page on the Vendor Portal.
Click the Edit button next to the Capabilities list to edit this list.
Enable or disable required capabilities by using corresponding switches.
Click the Save button to save edited Capabilities list.
The following describes available options within the Capabilities list.
This capability enables vendors to implement a pay-as-you-go system and periodically submit usage files to providers. The pay-as-you-go system based on the consumption or usage of a specified product rather than on a flat rate for a product or on a period of time.
The Pay-as-you-go capability allows vendors to implement the following reporting schemas:
Enable the Dynamic Items option so that your product will be able to report dynamic items in your usage report files. In other words, items that were not pre-declared during your Product Definition.
Switch the Predictive Estimates option on to enable the predictive Consumption data reporting. This reporting takes place during the Billing Period and before generating a usage report file.
Turn the Future Charges option on so that your product will be able to generate usage reports with charges assigned to future dates.
With this enabled capability your product will support the real-time reporting of the Reservation Items consumption.
With this enabled capability your product will support the real-time request structure validation prior to fulfillment requests creation on the Commerce platform.
Switch this capability on so that your product will feature the real-time validation of the Inquiring Form.
With this enabled capability your product will require explicit reseller authorization in order to create a subscription.
Specify how many Tiers need to be authorized for a subscription to be created.
Switch the Tier Accounts Sync capability on so that your product will feature the Tier accounts synchronization process.
Turn on the Administrative Hold capability so that your product will support the Suspend & Resume provider actions for subscriptions.
